Investment Strategies
Contango’s Investment Strategy Group (ISG) works closely with our financial advisors and investment and wealth-management team to ensure that client needs, objectives, concerns and aspirations are addressed.
Among other responsibilities, they:
- Allocate assets to meet specific goals.
- Select managers and funds, incorporating extensive due diligence, quantitative analysis and ongoing monitoring.
- Manage risk by performing extensive “what-if” analysis, including Value at Risk, comprehensive stress testing, and dynamic reporting and charting. Such analysis allows Contango to better project potential performance, modify portfolios to reduce risk and respond appropriately and quickly to changing economic environments.
- Conduct in-depth quantitative analysis of a wide array of mutual funds.
